Established in 1989 with the donation of Professor İrfan BAYHAN’s personal library to the department, the “Information and Documentation Center of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning”—as it is now known— has been enriched by contributions from other faculty members and is also used as a digital archive for the department’s graduation projects and theses. This center, which serves as the server unit for the ArcGIS program—an Esri product—and is open to the Faculty of Architecture, is managed by the department chair’s office.
